Well it looks like I am still able to post on here. Not sure what to write at this point, but I made it into the Faculty of Nursing, so yay for me! Lots of assignments, tests, and readings required to be done pretty much every week. My clinical practice this term is starting with a community placement, where I visit an elementary school and do a presentation on a health topic, shadow a public health nurse and visit a family with a child under 5 years of age to teach the parents and do a child assessment (all within six weeks). The following six weeks would be much more exciting because I will be at the hospital in the maternity ward, where I will see live births, and take care of the mother and baby. It's going to be a 12 hour shift!
